Hi All,

Over the last few weeks I have been looking to add an Associate Organizer role to further support the growth of our group. I received many responses and would like to thank to everybody who offered help or just a suggestion or an idea for our future meetups. Thanks to this overwhelming interest we ended up with not one but three talented professionals whose experience covers all aspects of a successful job hunt.

It is my pleasure to introduce three new Associate Organizers of our IT Jobseekers Meetup: Fehmida Malik, Arnie Fertig and Ben Gregg (see short bios below). Feel free to reach to them directly if you have any specific questions or thoughts about our Meetup or simply anything related to successful job hunting.

Fehmida Malik
Fehmida is an IT professional and currently is pursuing Software QA consulting work in Greater Boston area.

She is a skilled Software Quality Assurance Analyst experienced in full-lifecycle projects through definition and design, development, implementation and maintenance operations with focus on delivering value to all stakeholders.

In her ten year affiliation with highly regulated and competitive financial services industry, she spent three years in client-facing Mutual Fund Transfer Agency Operations and seven years in IT Financial turning quality software over to production.

Arnold Fertig
Arnie Fertig is Founder and Head Coach of jobhuntercoach.com. He brings to every client his experience as a veteran recruiter, human resources consultant, and rabbi. These seemingly diverse roles are united by a concern for people, and an ability to stimulate personal, professional, and organizational growth. He brings to each client his first hand knowledge of strategies and methods companies utilize to recognize and recruit talented individuals. He inverts the headhunting process to help job hunters target and acquire the positions that will best fit their unique set of skills, accomplishments, and education.


Ben Gregg
Ben is a staffing consultant with 15 years of experience delivering recruitment and staffing solutions to a wide range of clients, from multinationals to venture-backed technology start-ups. He has recruited for positions in enterprise technology, software development, web services, sales & marketing, professional services and executive management and worked with companies and clients in computing, financial services, healthcare, education and consumer packaged goods.

Currently, Ben is a Staffing Manager at Quantia Communications, a late-stage start-up developing a mobile communications platform capable of delivering rich media and web content to mobile devices including Apple iPhones, Blackberry smartphones and Windows Mobile devices. Their current proof of concept (a site developed entirely using their platform) is a social networking site for physicians www.quantiamd.com.
