Hi Guys,
I'm working a two hot contract to perm opportunities.  Below are the details.
Both are 100% on site positions.  Please get in touch with me ASAP if you're interested.
I look forward to helping.

1.) Sr. ROR Developer- Boston, MA - 6 months+ potential of Perm
Our clients site is running and is working in PHP, but it will not allow for growth and increase volume as the site grows.  They currently have about 250,000 students on the site and receive about 1000/hits per day.  They are rebuilding on a Rails platform.

He has a 4 person team, with about 9-12 months of Rails experience, they have learned it quickly and are doing a great job.  He wants someone more experienced than his team, no time to train they will need to jump right in.

Requirements:
* Development experience on a Rails platform, not a "ruby developer"
* Agile experience
* Test driven development process experience

Nice to have - manager would really like this though:
* Test framework experience with RSpec and/or Cucumber

2.) Web Developer (HTML, CSS, XML, Photoshop, Dreamweaver) - Burlington, MA - 4 months with chance of Perm

Looking for strong web developer- HTML, XML, CSS, Adobe, dreamweaver, flash.

Experience with Oracle/Stellant UCM a huge plus!!  Ideally wants this skill but will look at excellent people without it.

This is working in the Marketing department on a team with 3 other people.  Company is in the process of redoing corporate website.

The Web designer/developer is responsible for creating online design solutions that integrate brand guidelines, user experience best practices and ecommerce business goals. It requires strong visual and conceptual problem-solving skills that can be used to generate exceptional ideas and can be carried through to implementation. It requires a strong individual contributor with outstanding visual design skills. The ideal candidate must be proactive in retrieving and following up on all assets necessary to get the job done. This position requires the ability to consistently produce a high volume of quality work, meet tight deadlines and follow-up with clients to complete assignments on time. The web designer/developer must possess a positive attitude, a great work ethic and willingness to see projects through to completion. Being able to successfully manage ones time and responsibility across multiple interrelated and cross-group projects on schedule is a must. Great customer service skills are required.
