Boston QS Show&Tell #10 (hosted by InsideTracker at Cambridge Innovation Center)

Please come join us for another fun night of self-tracking presentations, sharing ideas, and showing tools. If you are self-tracking in any way -- health stats, biofeedback, life-logging, mood monitoring, biometrics, athletics, etc. -- come and share your methods, results and insight.

6:00 -7:00 pm SOCIAL HOUR AND NETWORKING

Come early, connect with others and share your interest in QS. We'll have refreshments to get us started.

7:00 - 8:00 pm QS SHOW & TELL TALKS

If you'd like to talk about your personal self-tracking story, please let us know in your RSVP so we can discuss your topic and how much time you'll need. In your talk, you should answer the three prime questions: What did you do? How did you do it? What did you learn?

If you've never been to a meetup before, you can get a sense of what the talks are like from watching videos of previous QS talks.

8:00 - 9:00 pm MORE SOCIAL TIME

Talk to the speakers, chat with new and old friends, ask other people what they're tracking, and generally hang out and have a great time.

I enjoyed all the talks that were given. It would have been nice to get a sense of what the talks were going to be about and how many there would be. One thing that was a bit different from what I expected was that more of the talks were about startups and recruiting money / participants rather than people demonstrating their self-experiments. I enjoyed these startup talks but I think they should be in a different event that doesn't brand itself as a show & tell. Most of the talks didn't address the three prime questions. I think there is merit in having specific "QS in our area" startup pitches (and I would definitely attend), I just don't think they should be in the same event.

I finally managed to reach CIC and business as usual over there. Here in NH is not! So I assume the meeting is on but if it gets cancelled please let us know. We already have enough hardship being without power approaching 24 hours now and even communication can be tricky at times.

Is the CIC open today? A word from the organizers would be appreciated as to have our meeting on or canceled?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
