Great event. Chris was awesome. He was also a very good sport during some hostile questioning.
  • Jerry Shapiro
Chris gave an outstanding introduction to the value of blogging to the SEO ranking of your site. He also updated us on the diminished value of your site as a destination, the fact that SEM accounts for only 16% of online activity while 80% of it is search, which itself is up 43% over last year. He urged us to find the 250 keywords that draw prospects to our site, to put up a separate blog on our site for each keyword, and to provide content on each blog that solves the customer's problem. The blog should be organized around the customers' needs, and not your products. He provided fresh insights into how potential customers use the web, and encouraged us to think beyond web analogs of paper products like catalogs and newsletters.
  • Kiril Stefan Alexandrov
Excellent speaker once again, very knowledgable and presented a very compelling new way to casting a wide net to grab traffic. New conceptual idea and the software that creates this opportunity was very interesting and thought-provoking. Moderator Todd Bairstow did an excellent job of shepherding the conversions in a focused and interesting way that everyone could learn and participate without wasting time on items that everyone already knew. Very efficient handling and all around a very satisfying and engaging experience that left us all smarter and more informed than before.
  • Jane Buck
Awesome engaging speaker. I enjoyed the questions and the moderator did a fabulous job of keeping the discussion on track and the topics appropriate for the group. Lots of Newbies attended!
  • Claude Pelanne
Chris Baggott gave a very informative presentation about the Compendium blogging software platform even without the benefit of a projector. The comments and questions from the group were also very educational. An evening well worth it as always.
  • Richard Petti
I learned a number of very useful activities and suggestions for improving our blog. I also gained a better understanding of how blogs and websites fit together, and how search engines are treating blogs.
  • Todd Bairstow
Great speaker, really knew blogging and SEO, even under tough questioning...
  • Nancy Wolff Leary
Extremely high level of knowledge. Great participation. Speaker was open and accessible, relaxed and flexible. Most information I have gleaned from an event I have attended in a long time. I'll be back!
  • Anita Harris
Appreciated Chris Bloggat's insights; thought peoples interruptions distracted from the flow. In the interest of SEO, I've posted comments and main points at http://harr... !
  • Guy Paquette
Informative, dynamic speaker. Excellent group participation. I learned a ton. Too bad the food didn't show up as promised, but c'est la vie.
