Bio: "I began my marketing career in 2006 after spending 8+ working years in different areas such as investments, insurance, and retail. I began moderating for Aaron Wall over at SeoBook.Com last year. Being asked to moderate on a forum that is owned by one of the top marketers in the game was quite humbling. In additional to running my own web properties I do private consulting on anything and everything related to B2C marketing (web and print) and I've worked with a couple of the largest insurance carriers in the US on their SEO, social media, and PPC marketing efforts."

Linda VaroneEven though the organizers had to punt because the scheduled speaker could not come, opening up the meeting to general discussion was great. The knowledge and experience within this group is nothing short of mind blowing. Thank you for so generously sharing!!!

Mark SpragueIt would be useful if you had some canned questions ready when you have a no show speaker. The mentoring is great - but, at some point the party in question should be encouraged to exchange contact info and take it off line.

Nancy Wolff LearyEven though the speaker didn't come, it was still a very good meeting. I'm so impressed at how forthcoming the members are with their knowledge. My only suggestion is that some (new) members tend to take over a bit with their questions and the conversation might need to be reigned in by the moderator (I know Brian, not an easy task!).

Claude PelanneThe Meetup was a lesson on the value of the people who make up the group. Absent the guest speaker who didn't show up, the session turned into a Q & A that was informational,
helpful and humorous. SEO for wordpress, web analytics, SERP returns in the new universal search environment, all in all a nice off the cuff session. Many thanks to those who shared their knowledge.

Jerry ShapiroI was disappointed that the speaker didn't show up, and that there was no backup speaker. Also, there was no food. Instead of relying on a food sponsor, we might try having a menu set up in advance and people can volunteer to bring one item, like a bottle of soda or a veggie platter. That spreads the expense and ensures that there's food at a dinnertime meeting. I think we need a more organized way to plan the topics and speakers, and to spread the responsibility over a Program Committee.
The impromptu discussion was excellent, thanks to the deep experience of some of the long-time members like Jeff Selig.
