Hi All. Today whilst in Scooters Go Green, someone showed me what looks to be a great ride around the 127 to Rockport.
I said it looked great but would not get the same experience if i just did it on my own. Then it hit me. I joined this group for a reason lol.
So who would be up to a trip from Boston to Rockport around the 127? Im sure that someone all ready knows the route, but if it is of interest to plenty of people to actually become reality I'm more than prepared to make some effort to plan a safe and fun route. Im new here in the US, so i might actually get us all lost but hey you don't know until you try huh :)
I have to work on the 5th and had family plans for 4th, but might still consider a possibility. Never heard back from Erika, hope she is alright.

Yeah, I can give it another half and hour - and when it becomes too late for me (trip will probably take like 4 hours back and forth)
June 22
I'm only free to ride on Fridays.
Last thing Erika said was..."Konstantin and Fred, are you open all day? I don't think I'll be able to leave until later in the afternoon." I suppose now is becoming later in the day...
June 22
@ Fred, dude, I can't seem to reach Erika, I thing we will have to postpone. Such a pitty, cause the ride seemed really attractive. Can you do weekends?
June 22
Erika, what time are we getting together? Are we meeting at the Scooters -go-green? Earliest I can be there is after 1 - is that acceptable for you? KM

Trying to get a couple of more of my friends to come. One has 4-stroke Vino 50cc (it will go up to nearly 38mph)
June 20
@ Quentin. I was talking about destricted 50cc. Top speed 40 mph. You can still do it restricted though. The toughest area is on Rt. 107/Highland Ave. in Salem, but there are a bunch of lights and a reasonable break down lane to travel in if you can't get enough speed.
June 20
When you say 50cc friendly, do you mean 50cc derestricted, or would a stock Yamaha Razz be able to handle the ride OK?
June 19
Yes I am open all day. Sounds like you 2 won't get up here until the afternoon. That's OK.
June 19
I am flexible of Fridays. If you want to leave afternoon, I will probably go to Brighton in the morning and do some work.
The only concern is the forecast - mornings usually tend to be better on the weather ;)
June 19
Konstantin and Fred, are you open all day? I don't think I'll be able to leave until later in the afternoon.
June 19
Takes about 1 hour to go from Boston to Salem. And 1 hour to get from Salem to Gloucester. FYI.
June 19
Did you guys figure out an estimate of what time you expect to get up to Salem yet ? Let me know...
June 19
Wow Fred! Nice pictures, this looks like real tranquility and peace. Gearing up for this Friday!

Here's some places we can check out up in Cape Ann... http://www.flickr.com/photos/da...![]()

Here's a 50cc friendly route I take in and out to Boston. The map is from the Museum of Science in Cambridge to the Bewitched Statue in downtown Salem. Make sure you stop in Saugus @ Kane's Donuts for a coffee and donut... http://www.flickr.com/photos/da...![]()

Fred Giannelli changed the time from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM
June 14
No, I just put that time up. You can organize your trip up from Boston at whatever time you want, then give me a call once you get to Salem and we'll head up to Rockport.
June 14
I got to check with my family and clarify the timing. 10AM is in Salem?
June 14
Fred Giannelli changed the date and time from Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 12:46 PM to Friday, June 22, 2012 at 10:00 AM
June 13
OK, sounds good. Give me a call once you get to Salem and we can rendezvous. Let me know if you need help finding the best way to get up here on a Buddy 50. Fred [masked]
June 13
I would love to join the ride. Fridays also work for me, How about June 22nd?
June 13
I can only do it on a Friday, until August. I can take you around the loop of Cape Ann on 127 once you get up to Salem. Certainly the best ride Mass. has to offer...
