Although only a small number of little folks attended this workshop, Melissa led a great class assisted by few young students and an old man (Charlie). I think this class should be continued in future Melee. The children's performing group Melissa led was the best show of the day.

The little ones were so cute, and my six helpers were very enthusiastic. The fifth graders had a wonderful time. Thanks so much for giving them the opportunity to be a part of a great ukulele community and see such talented role models. One of them said it was the "best day ever."

I got "Shortnin Bread", "Found a Peanut" and "The Bear Went Over the Mountain"from different sources, and they needed tweaking. I will make some copies of the tweaked version.

This is a part of Ukulele Melee. This workshop starts at 1:00 pm. We have several extra ukuleles for the kids to borrow. Children can join and leave the classroom anytime during the workshop. They are not required to stay for entire class. Parents (or guardian), please stay with your child in the classroom. This is not a childcare.

Parents must leave with at least as many children as they came with.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
