Emeline Michel at MFA

A “dancing ambassador with a voice serene and warm like a breeze” (The New York Times), Haitian vocalist Emeline Michel mixes Creole and French folk songs with vibrant jazz. Emeline Michel is beloved by Haitians for combining traditional rhythms with social, political and inspirational content, and using a broad palette of musical styles, including the native Haitian compass, twoubadou, and rare. The music reflects her strong attachment to her native culture, even after years of living in France, Canada, and now New York.

    Hi there!
Kenny asked me to host this event since he will not be able to.

I am happy to meet Marie and Elena outside the MFA (fenway entrance) at 7pm. I need to get my ticket from the box office, and also find the courtyard, as I have never been there!

Does that sound like a good plan?

you can email me also to let me know.
    [masked]

look forward to seeing you all this evening!

I'm not able to host, but if someone who RSVPs can host, that would be great

Thanks Marika, it is pretty simple. Just pick a good spot for people to meet (have you been to the courtyard before? If you know a good spot on the courtyard, you can either just leave it as a comment here, or let me know and I can add it to comments or event description)
