Introduction

Representing the MAMADOU ensemble, I have been performing West African music live since 2000, and would love to invite you to all of our shows. Thank you Jacques for hosting this group!

Please introduce yourself

As a musician with roots in piano, often I can be found hiding behind some keyboards on stage with the band MAMADOU (West African World Fusion). Among other things, that keeps me busy. I also like to travel and perform music with my wife, Michelle.

What type of music are you into. Please share your favorite (s) music, artist etc..

I like good music. That said, personal favorites of mine include Al Di Meola, Keith Jarrett, Orchestra Baobab, Salif Keita, Mamadou Diop, Beethoven, Chopin, and Art Tatum, to name a few. Some of them are still around to appreciate live.
