Yon Selebrasyon Endependans d'Ayiti!

Bonjou, zanmi mwen!

AGENDA

To celebrate the upcoming New Year (Jan 1), which is also the date on which Haitian Independence is celebrated (1 January 1804), let's meet at Highland Creole Cuisine to chat & chow down! If we're lucky, maybe they'll be serving soup joumou (squash soup), which is served in many Haitian households as the traditional meal to commemorate endepandans d'Ayiti. Soup la bon nan bouch mwen, mezanmi! Mmmmm!

Drooling aside . . . I hope you'll be able to make it!
