Introduction
I recently graduated from a Masters program in nutrition and global health at Tufts. I spent last summer in Milot, Haiti conducting a child malnutrition study and I hope to return to Haiti again soon!
Do you already speak some Haitian?
I learned some beginner Kreyol using a Creole Made Easy book this past summer, though was surprised at how much I was able to pick up! I may have only reached a 3-year-old level of conversation, but I hope to keep up the learning process.

Why did you decide to join this particular Meetup Group?
I had been looking for opportunities/classes to learn Kreyol in the Boston area for a long time, both before and after I spent time in Haiti. I just found the link to this meet up on the Physicians for Haiti website.
