I'ma Get Medieval...

My kingdom for some good games based on the Middle Ages!  Here's a sampling of titles (that I know our group has access to) from the top 100 or so medieval-themed games on BGG: Lancaster, Key Harvest, Game of Thrones, Village, Carcassonne, Asara, De Vulgari Eloquentia, Caylus, Kingdom Builder, World Without End, Troyes, The Castles of Burgundy, The Pillars of the Earth, Citadels, Kingsburg, Samurai, Ora et Labora, and Eclipse.

So ready your minions and attempt to convert from your lowly serf status into revered royalty.  Or something like that.

The usual details: We'll prepare some foodstuffs, and you're welcome to bring grillables, a snack, side dish, or dessert if you're so inclined...it's helpful if you indicate what (if anything) you're toting along in the comments section so we don't have a plethora of potato chips or cookies. BYOB!  Two cars could park on our driveway, there are three designated parking areas in our Circle (ranging from 3-7ish spaces per), or you could parallel on Left Hand Cir (NOT along the street of Glendale Gulch, please...it riles up the neighbors). My cell if you need it - 4068394518.

As much as I want to be there, I'm still sick. Wouldn't want to contaminate the game pieces. Have a great time!

Lancaster looks intriguing & thematic w/ parliament voting mechanism.

Lancaster? Troyes with the expansion? And the menu will be gruel, as that's appropriately medieval. Or rice with something something. I haven't quite decided.

Hmmm - looks like you have an Ewok hiding in Uranus - now where's the Medieval in that ??

Seems a fairly barbaric practice to shove an Ewok into Uranus...or someone else's!

Anyone interested in "short" version of "Here I Stand" - 1532 (turn 4) to 1555 (turn 9)?
