We are currently looking for a User Experience Designer for our client in Broomfield. This will be a new position within the company and will be the resident expert!
The company is a market leader in their space and has had 10+ years of on-line success. They have a great culture where you have the opportunity to learn from your peers. They work a true 40 hour work week and enjoy barbecues on the deck in the summer. This is a rare company that truly values their employees and takes VERY good care of them once on board.
WARNING~ This job is not for any ol' UX Designer. You will be expected to present your portfolio of work and demonstrate your Human Factors knowledge. This group values their culture and is VERY picky when it comes to hiring. They want people who love their job and look forward to coming to work. WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING:
. Analyze and understand business and application requirements, prioritize and identify user tasks and goals
. Execute interaction ideas as part of the product team
. Research and justify user interaction models based on user interviews and usability testing
. Define and build information architecture, wireframes, and visual design elements for multiple channels including web, mobile, and tablet interfaces
. Deployment and measurement of user interface effectiveness via A/B testing for improvement
WHAT YOU NEED TO COME TO THE TABLE WITH:
. 5+ years’ experience with web application user experience
. Strong creative, conceptual problem-solving skills
. Strong grasp of user-centered and interaction design principles and practices
. Experience creating high- and low-fidelity mockups, prototypes, wireframes and story boards
. Strong communication and presentation skills
. Experience working with SaaS, e-commerce or other web-based products
. Comfortable working with software engineering to see design implemented
. Ability to prioritize appropriately and to substantiate decisions with information and experience
. Awareness of trends and best practices in the user experience field
. A portfolio of prior work is required
WOULD LOVE TO SEE:
. Experience conducting quantitiative and qualitative usability testing
. Agile experience
. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Visio/OmniGraffle, Usability Testing Tools
. A/B Testing
Bachelor’s degree required; Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred
This is a direct hire position with a very competitive salary, year end bonus, fully paid for benefits plan,company equity sharing plan and a matching 401k.
