Read the first half of The Master and Margarita

Note the time change!!

scuss the first half of Mikhail Bulgakov's The Master and Margarita, acclaimed in the New York Times Book Review as "One of the truly great Russian novels of [the twentieth] century" and described by the website that must not be cited in your term paper as "the foremost of Soviet satires."

will post a clearer description of what exactly "the first half" means as soon as I get a copy.

Those of us who discussed Death in Venice talked about meeting on 1/26 but I have just been given a sizable amount of work that is due just before then so I am pushing the date out one week.  If that is a problem for any of you, please let me know and perhaps we can shuffle differently.

Turns out I'm going to Fort Collins for the day, I hope the next is before Feb 26 so I can come! Was looking forward to hearing what you all thought.

I'm sorry I can't make this session because I love Bulgakov, but we have theater tickets in Denver at exactly this same time.
Hope to meet you all next time.
