I am cross posting this meetup from Boulder Chaos group.  Please RSVP there instead.

Join us for a weekend of mountain biking in Fruita and Grand Junction. There are trails for all levels of riders, but many of them are for Intermediate to Advanced riders. Fruita and Grand Junction are not as crowded as Moab, but are preferred by many Colorado mountain bikers. This will be the weekend before the Fat Tire Festival so the trails shouldn't be too crowded yet.

Descriptions of some trail choices:

We will be car camping in the desert, so the campground cost will be $10/person, and the weather is much warmer than most of Colorado. We reserved 4 tent camping sites. There are showers nearby. We have reservations for both Friday and Saturday nights. I will be driving out on Thursday night because I am not an early bird.

In your rsvp please indicate when you are willing to leave and where from to coordinate carpooling.

I will be driving out on Thursday night because I am not an early bird, but you can join us on Friday night, or Saturday morning as your schedule permits. The general plan is to ride Friday, Saturday and Sunday, returning Sunday night.

Heidi, if you are planning to come on the trip I'll be leaving from Dillon tomorrow around 3PM-ish and could carpool if your car can carry 2 bikes (mine cannot). Post a message here if so.

I also RSVP'd on Boulder CHAOS. I am available to leave on Thursday. Carpooling would be great as my car can only fit one bike (quick release)

Call[masked] if I can split gas with you

We are camping at a State Park in the Fruita / Grand Junction area. I will send out the reservation details to people who are coming on the trip.

The weather forecast looks good for this weekend. Sunny skies and daytime temperatures in the 60s. But bring winter camping gear for the lows in the 30s.

Call me if you have any other questions:

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
