Circuit Bending Intro + Jam Session

Hey Guys,

Our October meetup is coming up soon.  I've got a circuit bent Casio that I'm going to show off and give a quick intro on how to get started on your own circuit bending project.

Also, we've been talking about having a jam session for awhile now and I think this is as good a time as any.  I'll have my bent Casio and will bring a mixer and an amp so we can plug multiple devices in and get a jam going.  Feel free to bring an instrument to jam with.  Some good ideas would be drum machines, synthesizers, laptop with DAW, an electric guitar maybe.  Make sure you bring a 1/4 inch cable to plug in with.  This is our first time attempting this so it could be chaos but there will be noise and thats all that matters ;).

If you don't have an instrument or know how to play one, don't worry, there will be beer, food, and socializing as well.  Should be a good time.

As always, thanks to Applied Trust for sponsoring the space, beer, and food!

If you aren't familiar with circuit bending, it is the art of taking cheap electronic instruments and hacking them to make awesome glitchy sounds. Here is an example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tTe7chSYqM
