The people economy, the human capital marketplace, is ~70% of the US economy and yet the mechanisms for educating, training, credentialing, hiring and managing people are antiquated and ripe for disruption. How people learn, are recognized/rewarded for that learning, and maximize that learning and knowledge in the right role are inexorably linked, and yet too often discussed separately. For example, exciting innovations in self-directed learning are much less valuable to people if they have no way to get credit for that knowledge when finding or creating their next job. This group's meetups will focus on specific aspects of the people economy, while keeping the larger ecosystem in mind. Format will vary based on number of attendees and guests invited, though expect a mix of presentations, panels and demos. If you're passionate about maximizing every single person's skills and passions, please join us!
