Alan Wostenberg to talk about Cucumber

Cucumber lets software development teams describe how software should behave in plain text. The text is written in a business-readable domain-specific language and serves as documentation, automated tests and development-aid - all rolled into one format.

Cucumber works with Ruby, Java, .NET, Flex or web applications written in any language. It has been translated to over 40 spoken languages.

Cucumber also supports more succinct tests in tables - similar to what FIT does. Dig around in the examples and documentation to learn more about Cucumber tables.

Alan has worked with several species of Cucumber, and this particular demonstration will be on the .NET platform in Specflow and the open source, cross-platform F# language.

I won't be able to be there @5:30pm (more like 6:30pm)... but, I would like to add a suggestion for a future meeting topic: Testing in the Cloud.

Note the venue change to the Alteryx offices in North Boulder. Plenty of free parking. Come on up to the second floor a little early, have a beer, some food, ponder the paintings by the engineers at Alteryx, as you witness the Cucumbers come to life and get pickled in this live coding demo.

    See you there!
