Introduction

Semantic web has been an interest for many years. I wrote a book on Web Farming in 1999 that argued that 'external data' needed to be formally integrated with corporate data warehousing.

What do you do now with the Semantic Web?

Would like to learn more about the tools available to author structured information.

What do you most want from the Semantic Web, that you're not getting yet?

Local folks to kick around the issues.

Richard, I don't know how different Python 2.6 is from 2.7. I have tested many of the Semantic extension modules with 2.6, but not with 2.7. We know that they won't work (yet) with Python 3.0. It's a bit of a version-mess. I suggest that you try with 2.7, but have 2.6 installed as a fallback in case of too much trouble.

There is no kosher place in Boulder. The Cup can be ok, but if people are more comfortable going somewhere that's just fine. I'll make it to the university.

Thanks Richard! I will come to one at the university one day, I'm sure. I've had plans to come to several but Goldie has had more success in that. The reason I am not coming to this next one is the location (religious reasons prevent me from going into non-kosher eating establishments even if I'm not eating). So I'm sure we'll catch up at the university in the future.

Hello, yes, Paul D. was my old boss and got me (and the Explo) into SL. Wonderful guy. I'll be at the eclipse on August. I just haven't spent as much time in SL as I would like.
