I built a robot for mechatronics which participated in a "Robot Joust" Competition. The robots were to seek out their opponent while remaining in the game boundaries, then attempt to unseat a "knight" on top of the opponent's robot. The robot was built around a National Instruments SbRio 9632 but the chasis, sensor systems, and mechanics were all built from scratch.
Nothing at the moment, but I'm looking for good project ideas!
I'm currently a graduate student doing research in Lithium-Ion batteries and hermetic sealing for MEMS devices.
I'm a recent graduate from CU, having just received my Masters in mechanical engineering. After enrolling in the famously popular mechatronics course, I've become very excited and interested in pursuing robotics as both a hobby and career.
