Copper Mountain, $40 Lift Tix!

If you haven't seen yet, Copper is celebrating 40 years of operation and is having a 1972 throwback next weekend. They have $40 lift tickets and $40 rentals - check it out: http://www.coppercolorado.com/winter/landingpages/40th.html.

I am actually going to be staying in Brek all weekend, but planning to ski Copper Saturday and possibly Sunday. Most likely, we can plan to meet at the base at 9:00am, but I will follow up with more details next week. If there is enough interest, I will propose people carpool from Boulder and/or Dinosaur lots.

We can ski all day, grab lunch, ski some more, and hit apres after and catch the free concert.

    I'm still planning to be at Copper on Saturday. It looks like they're getting/will get some new snow, although the big stuff is supposed to hit Saturday night. I may be doing Keystone or Brek on Sunday. Tentatively, we can plan to meet around 9:00 in the center village, near the ticket office. Let me know if that works for you....

    What are the snow reports? Is there any good snow up there? I need to check the base... ;) Hopefully they are getting hit this weekend too! It's about to begin!

      18" base - seems like that's the magical number at every resort this time of year... Supposed to snow a little tomorrow, 1" maybe. Snow on the weekend, but don't count on a "dump".

    Wow!! Haven't been to Copper in forever and this woud seem the perfect opportunity -- if only there were snow !!! Hey, This is Boulder !!! Can't we all chip in and hire a Wishing Coach to do some high-powered, precision wishing and manifest some white stuff on the slopes (okay, just Copper slopes, if it's really that hard) and let's get this damn ski season off and running (or sliding, or maybe shussing, that's it shussing). :)
