Brunch at Foolish Craig's Cafe

Come join us for Brunch at Foolish Craig's Cafe. Hope you can come!

Please arrive a bit early, as the restaurant doesn't take reservations, so we may have to wait a little while for a table and they usually won't seat until the entire group is there.

Change in Plans?

If your plans have changed please update your RSVP 24 hours prior to the event, so any people on the waiting list can have a chance to go. If you are on the waiting list you will want to check the night or morning of the event to see if you've automatically been added.

If you change your RSVP to no at the day of an event or do not show up more than 3 times to limited events you will be removed from the group. (This will not affect wait-listed people who are auto-added by meetup at the last moment.)

Q: Why is the RSVP amount so limited?

A: It is hard to coordinate multiple tables for breakfast. We've tried this in the past and it ended up the organizer ate by themselves after they waited for people who didn't show. So now the RSVP is limited to one table. If there are enough on the waiting list, people on the waiting list are welcome to coordinate their own "event" for their own table around the same time.

CASH: Please bring a few dollars in cash for your Meetup donation. This meetup costs $24 dollars a month for the organizers to host, and every little bit helps! We are currently $56 behind. Please help catch up before the next payment is due in August!

HOST: Another way to support his meetup is by hosting an event! Hosting is easy! All you have to do is come with an idea/plan, provide your phone number (or print out a meetup sign) so people can find the group, and then show up! Contact the organizers today to host an event!

I won't be able to make it. Hopefully someone can grab my spot!

Eek! I just realized I have my dog training class up in Longmont at 11am on Sunday! I haven't been to Foolish Craig's before; does anyone know how long it usually takes to get a table? If the waits are anything like Lucile's or Snooze, would anyone want to tag along 30-45 min earlier to score our 6 top (that way, we'll already have a table ready to rumble for everyone at 9:45)? Alternatively, I could call them that morning as soon as they open to be prepared for the group. Better yet, who's down for a patio table (if we can get it)?

I usually go 30 minutes early to reserve our table, so I'll be there a little after 9. This will be my first time there so not sure about their process.

So, I guess now that we have 6 on the waitlist, should we get a "second" table organized together?

Yeah not sure if joining two tables together or getting a table for 12 at such a small restaurant will be all too feasible (or make the staff too happy), since Foolish Craig's doesn't take RSVPs. When we did the stout meetup at Southern Sun, a lot of people no-showed, but we just asked for a big long table just in case. Lucky for us, that worked so nobody was left out. If other people want to coordinate a separate table, that would probably work best, and should be limited-capacity as well.

I'll come if we decide a second table is worth trying for

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
