I prefer the face to face approach. Nothing compares to spending time with someone in person. Sometimes you realise there's no romance, but you might like each other as friends.
Definitely important. It takes the pressure off if you can enjoy someone's company without worrying about making a good impression. I'm more confident, optimistic and independent since meeting people through my group. If I meet someone special through the group, that will be a fantastic bonus. In the meantime, I can enjoy all the opportunities to meet lots of people and make some friends.
The idea for a non-dating social club for singles, based in The Medway Towns, came to me one weekend, when I realised I didn't actually have a social life. I'm so glad that I set up this group. It has transformed my social life and I'm not so shy, quiet and serious anymore!
Dancing, music, films. I'm eager to share my interests, but be introduced to new ones through the people I meet in the group.
I'm a bit shy and reserved until I get to know people. I prefer being in a small group, but running the group has pushed me beyond my comfort zone. It has been great! I have a wide variety of interests, but I'm always keen to find new ones. I work full time and my social life revolves around this group, running it, enjoying events and meeting people.
Hi. I am recently divorced. I set up the Bounce Back Club as a way of making friends locally. I now have a full and active social life. The Bounce Back Club has become a popular and lively group. We are friendly people having a great time.
