Beautiful builds with Roy Osherove (seats available)

  • Feb 27, 2013 · 4:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

This workshop has priority seats that will be filled up first. Once you register for this meetup, you will be on the wait list. Seats will be made available on the 24. february.

Roy Osherove shares his views on what makes builds that are maintainable and coherent, and shows examples of common build patterns: solutions to common problems in automated builds. This is still a work in progress, so a real discussion over which patterns are missing, and which can be changed is expected from the attendees.

- a lively discussion over what build patterns are missing
- some examples of those patterns using tools like teamcity and FinalBuilder
- some ideas how builds are used in the agile world

A fresh, clearly structured approach to builds. I wish there were also a lecture on installers. :)

Thanks for the interesting discussions, everyone! And thanks to Roy for sharing his expertise in the area (and Bouvet for hosting it). It was a very interesting and engaging meetup. See you next time! :)

Thanks for orginizing an event on such a hot topic. Surprisingly how many people struggle getting builds straight, when it is a key of successfull delivery nowadays.

Thank you all for a great meetup with a lot more discussion than an average Norwegian event:)
