Welcome to the Bozeman Adventure Club! We love adventures in hiking, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, climbing, camping, backpacking and pretty much anything else that lets us enjoy this amazing part of the country. We also love to socialize at events around town and at our members' homes. We range in ages from 20's - 70's with lots of varied interests.
Please use the RSVP button to indicate whether you will be attending and if your plans change please go back in and adjust it so that we know whether we should be waiting for you or not! It's always out of respect to those who may be on the waiting list and are hoping to bump in. If you don't change your RSVP and they miss out... that's no fun. I monitor attendance and try to mark the no shows so that I have an idea if someone is struggling with changing their RSVP. If I notice you've had 3 of those I'll probably be contacting you to try and see if we can help you understand the importance of doing that so others can attend from the waiting list. I totally get that plans change last minute so NO WORRIES about changing your RSVP - this club is here for fun... not an obligation. We just ask that you go in and adjust it so that we know who to wait on, whose coming and everyone has a chance to participate.
We've set the group up so that any member can post events. So if you want to schedule something and have an idea put it on the calendar! Just click on schedule an event and type in your information. We may ask some follow up questions and help you plan your event if we feel that will help it be more successful. Please don't post gender specific events (Men/Women only). If you need help figuring out how to do it let me know. Once I notice you have scheduled something I can designate you as event host for that event and you will be able to change/alter details. I can also set a limit and a waiting list if you let me know. You'll want to do that if there is a limit since once it goes up....people jump on it!
We have gotten to be a pretty big group so on some things we have begun making size limits so that it's enjoyable for everyone. Trying to hike with 30 people is just really too many! If you are unable to get a spot you are welcome to plan your own event. We have set it up so that any member can schedule something so go for it!
