Carbon Monoxide and Your Appliances

THE CITY OF BOZEMAN’S 10% Energy Reduction Challenge kicks off with this year-long workshop series called Home Energy Solutions for All. The series offers free short lectures convenient to attend over your Friday lunch hour. Bring your lunch, spend an hour and learn about energy solutions.

This week's topic is "
Carbon Monoxide and Your Appliances", April's topics address Energy Efficiency and your Health: Radon, Lead-based Paint, and Moisture and Mold.

The lectures are led by experts who can provide technical information and practical advice. Each lecture will include a hand-out summarizing the topic and includes a list of resources for further research. There will be time for Q&A at each session. With this format, we will help you learn how to evaluate your house and prioritize your energy options.

WHY is this relevant to you? 72% of Bozeman’s greenhouse gas emissions are from the electricity and natural gas we use in our homes and commercial buildings. Weatherization makes a difference.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
