Procedural Terrain Generation

Turns out the bank has had water damage. So we'll be meeting at Foudant.

Tyson and Tom will be talking about generating procedural terrain.

We'll be covering a bunch of different topics, and giving you some tools to use with Unity3d, for procedurally generating your own terrains. By the end, you'll be able to make something like this:


• Midpoint displacement algorithm

• Diamond-Square algorithm

• Noise-based methods

• Polygon-based generation

• Dungeon generator (
