Do you know what a Throwie is? Its not a new idea, But on friday nights you can apply the use of little sources of light in ways you may not have thought of. Friday night is about taking lights into the city and experimenting with light, or peoples reaction to light.
We meet at 8pm at Brain Silo, and look around this industrial location, or on the max for inspiration for lighting projects and talk about fun ways to use light in art and in life.
Your welcome to bring your own sources of light or make your own throwies and bring them along.
There is a $10 fee for this one to compensate for materials. You get to keep (or give away) 20 throwies. I plan to fill 10 spots so if you have a great idea, you may be able to do art work with 200 lights.
Friday Night Light is a fun way to spend time with friends and do something artistic and fun, and also exploring our beautiful city.
