Here's an interesting article from The Scientist related to one topic that Andrew discussed at the last few meetings:

I'm looking forward to Friday and presenting some of what I have learned over the years about how the brain functions in some unique ways under the umbrella of features that are often labeled "ADHD". Fundamentally, it often means an altered organization of the brain - and that brings with it some unique qualities.. That also informs several strategies for maximizing our brain's strengths and addressing any weaknesses, when it comes to "attention" and related functions. I'll present some slides for about 40-45 min and then we have time for questions and additional discussion. There will also be an experiential component for at least one of the "strategies" that I'll talk about.

Hi Tricia - feel free to contact me directly, and I'll find someone more local to you that does QEEG / Neurofeedback if you would like.
