Hi, I'm new to Boulder. I'm a writer, online publisher, fledgling artist (currently audio/video mash-ups are my hobby), info-activist, etc. I'm planning on getting a PhD in depth psychology.
Jungian psychology (related: ecopsychology, process-oriented psychology), quantum physics (and other sciences), human/animal behavior, communication/information theory, culture/media studies, world mythology, ancient philosophy, dreams, shamanism/indigenous culture, etc.
According to the SimilarMinds.com and HumanMetrics.com tests, I am an INFJ. Sounds about right.
Hosting authors, filmmakers, thinkers, and artists for talks would be fun. And hosting documentary screenings would work well. Really any activities that flex our mind muscles.
i can rally with the midwesterners who leave. ;D i'm seeing a small expat camp under the starry skies, slinging poetry about SUN around a fire...or are fires even allowed here? :) (but i also grew up in montana near yellowstone, so the mountains are home.) happy to be here. looking forward to meeting you.
you know it! haha... too bad we were sitting at opposite ends of the gaming tables (or else, good thing?? might have triggered science geeking overload...)
Welcome to the group, Nick! I will hope to see you at one of our events-- and soon! Let me know if you have any questions. We've got 3 up coming events and will have more soon!
