Welcome to the New In Town Alicia hope to see you soon!
Welcome to Boulder Literary Fiction For Men + Women ~ you'll expand your horizons by reading books you never thought you would!! Love 'em or hate 'em ~ it all makes for a lively discussion!!
I actually haven't been to many bars around Boston yet. I've tried Bukowski's a few times and a few others around Back Bay. I enjoy all kinds of beer. My favorite is the Drie Fonteinen Oude Geuze. After living in the Netherlands for two and a half years though, I'm looking forward to trying all of the New England brews. I'm looking for other beer drinkers to sit back and relax with on Friday or Saturday nights.
Hi Alicia! Thank you for the note! Just started drinking beer in August and I am loving trying new things! Very excited about this group! My boyfriend belongs to a beer meetup group in CT so I figured I would seek one closeby to me!
Thanks for the note. I did in fact bring home some Oregon beer and wine! My favorite is a little brewery in Hood River (right next to full sail) called double mountain! I have already made it to the Harpoon and Sam Adams tours out here! I noticed you put out an email today requesting interest in planning or helping to plan events. I would love to help plan some events once I get a little more situated and figure out my work schedule. Have a great weekend!
My name is Hank. I'm a producer in Los Angeles and I'm working on a new home brewing series for a major cable network that will film in Boston.
I have sent your group members a message about the show. But, if there is a better way to reach them I would appreciate the heads up.
Also, if might be useful to chat about the series and what exactly I'm looking for (if, of course, you think your members would be interested)
Thanks very much for your time.
Alicia - I just joined your group and wanted to respond to my introductory note. As far as drinking around Boston, I really enjoy going to Parish Cafe and the Sunset Grill, even though neither are really bars; they have great beer selections though. I love drinking porters in winter and wits in summer, and as far as the group, I just want to meet new friends who also enjoy tall, tasty pints. Cheers.
I'll definitely be there at Lord Hobo's, it's my neighborhood bar and only a three minute walk from my place. I'm glad that there's finally a meet up there.
