Let's Game on Thursdays

Folks,

We're going to play some boardgames on Thursday night at Panera Bread in Valrico.  It is a nice place, and we'll start at 5:30 and play a game or two.  If you need to show up after 5:30 that's fine too.  The store is just South of Bloomingdale on the right(West) side, and is right next to the Starbucks.

This is for gaming fun, so psychos and people who must win, I think there is another group for you :)

We won't charge, but buying something from the store should not be a problem, as I know they have good food and some healthy options as well.

They close at 9:30, so we'll need to wrap it up about then.  If you want to get there early so you can eat beforehand, then please do so.

Also, please bring a game you're willing to teach if you can.

Had fun last night. Thanks for the dice bag! I've never owned one. Kinda looks like a dragon egg from Game of Thrones lol

The first video said it is a 2Player game. What is the play time on this?

      March 13, 2014

    • Diane

I read that play time is 30 minutes on average (if you know what you're doing). This game also has somewhat of a steap learning curve...

Knowing that I was going to be in town this week (Dover), I decided to look for a game group. This is very nice; you're not entirely strangers! Patrick, we met briefly at DT Con and I regularly read and comment on the DT Con Facebook page.

As for brining a game to teach, my newest games are Nations, Amerigo(neither or which I'd like to lug on a plane), Madeira, Glass Road, Eight Minute Empire: Legends, Augustus and Coup. You can also check out my collection on BGG, username: sdschlager. I'm open to a request.

I've been looking to play Kemet, Bruxelles 1893 and Triassic Terror.

I'll see y'all in twelve days!

Welcome to the group... What games did you bring with you, or do you have requests? I will be bringing Triassic Terror if you want.

Welcome to the group. We play a plethora of games and I have yet to play the same game twice. Very good mix of people and the space is very nice.
