Branford Kayaking Meetup Group

The Branford Kayak Group is a bunch of people who kayak for the fun of it and thought it would be neat to share our ideas, discoveries of hidden niches along the Sound, up the rivers and journeys between the ponds and lakes of Connecticut. All skill levels are welcome to participate and all launch sites will be considered. Beginners are welcome but everyone will need their own boat, paddle, and equipment (do not forget the life jacket!) some local outfitters rent boats if you need one you can check with us to see which ones may rent. I am not a paddling expert but others in the group may be, so feel free to ask questions. Please check out the disclaimer found under "Discussions, Message Board" for everyones understanding of your responsibilities as a member of this group as well as the Group Paddle Ratings. I hope to see you all out on the water and look forward to a summer of warm days and flat water with the occasional waves to surf.
