How would you like to benefit from this group?

Would like to get to know folks in the area, learn new tricks for fermentation, and maybe even start a live foods dinner group!

How much experience with raw and living foods do you have... beyond salad, that is?

My partner is the chef of the house and excels at his own kimchi. I have recently started fermenting grains for about a week before eating them and of course I love more "conventional" ferments like sauerkraut and pickles.

Do you have any food allergies? If so, what are they?

Lactose intolerance

Some vegans don't eat honey. I sometimes I use it in recipes, as there is much controversy over agave. Are you OK with honey?

I am very picky about sweeteners. I like honey and maple syrup the best. I will not eat anything with stevia, and I am not super keen on agave.

Introduction

I have just moved to Keene and I'm looking forward to putting roots down in this area! In addition to enjoying ferments and fermentation, I like to crochet and my biggest hobby and profession is the study of languages.
