Absolutely. Ask questions here, google groups, or at g.d.o any time, and come out when you can.
We are not meeting regularly for the moment, but with enough help, we totally could again. The original plan is to meet over lunch regularly to foster relationships and conversations around Drupal and to be readily available as a resource for growing the community and leaning.
[Edit] Wow, this was unexpectedly difficult to conduct a conversation. Please do join up on the Google Groups (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/bcs-drupal) where conversation can flow more easily.
Looking forward to meeting you soon.

Am I correct in understanding that y'all meet every other week? Would a novice Drupal user benefit from coming? I have very basic questions to ask, but I may not be able to attend on June 25th. I'd like to be able to attend sporadically in the future.
James, sounds good to me. Thanks. Any other takers for lunch next Tue?

I am writing an app using Node.js on the Express framework and would be happy to share my thoughts on it and why I did not build it with Drupal.

I'm game for any topic if you have one of general interest to the group.
Otherwise, I suggest a selfish one: roundtable discussion to impart wisdom to someone with extensive programming experience but who needs to get his feet wet in web development. [yawn, not again]. I have some ideas for spare-time projects and would appreciate some best-practices guidance. Of course I should just jump in and do it; but somehow I've repeatedly had false starts and wheel spinning.
Or you could talk about the intricacies of Drupal, and I will be there to listen and nod my head.

Drupal, web, php but mainly Drupal. We discuss trends, dev ops, and issues, we problem solve with each other. Low level and n00b alike are welcome!
just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
