Sometimes nothing beats going out for lunch with "the girls." Whether we are retired, a stay home mom, or sneaking away from work for an hour or two, meeting up with other women in the best. Most of us can't attend everything, but it sure is wonderful to have choices. A few of us knew each other before Ladies Who Lunch in Tucson, but most of us have made friends through the group. Each week we have some new members...friends we just haven't met yet. We usually have one event a week, but we are growing, so that will likely increase. Lately, I have organized the occasional happy hour, and they have been popular. We are also hoping to take part in more charity events. Happy hours are wonderful in Tucson, delicious menu items at reduced prices. I strongly encourage members to email me with a restaurant they would like to go, the date and the number of guests. I will post it...and we will come. We are all loving it. We are all mostly over 50, but be welcome women of all ages. We are an active group and have at least one event a week. We know everyone can't attend every week, but request to remain an active member attend something at least every four to six weeks. I try to keep our lunches to eight members so it is important that you give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel. We have good relationship with restaurants and no shows cause them to lose money and another member to miss out. Thanks for you understanding. WE ARE A CHILD FREE GROUP. KINDLY TO NOT BRING CHILDREN OF ANY AGE TO OUR EVENTS. AGAIN, THANKS FOR YOU UNDERSTANDING.
