Even if Matt doesn't win I don't think we should give up on BREC. We didn't do any planning to take it over. If we did plan we would have flooded the place with our people in June and taken over with numbers . This late in the BREC election our only options are Plan A. Get Matt elected B. Matt said if we get 7 committee members then we would control BREC. C. No matter what happens get the numbers of our people in BREC the own it. As far as I know our organizing to take BREC started last night. Whoever runs it now probably started organizing months ago.

Many good ideas were put forward. Now, let's all hope those that put ideas forward will stand up and do something in accordance with their abilities.

Agree with Francis that the new norm is demographic, so now what... asking myself "What good is the Republican Party? Will add the outcome of BREC to my decission. Meanwhile, giving more thought to local issues and self preservation and feel like most of us, giving my efforts where my contributions will make a positive difference is the way to go.

Sorry to miss this. I wonder if we are still too close to the election to make good decisions for the future. Wish I had been there.

I hope that it was worthwhile and ideas are shared here, so that I can "catch-up" with the group.

A point to ponder regarding the next steps (assuming it is true): Demographic voting is the new norm in America. You vote based on who you are, not where you live or how well each campaign has articulated its case. 93% of blacks, 70% of Latinos, 60% of those under 30, and 62% of single people, voted for Obama. And white married couples over 30 years of age voted for Romney. Not much else matters. A president who was elected and re-elected through identity politics has brought about a state of affairs where demographic voting determines the outcome. Our votes are predictable based on our race, ethnicity, age, and marital status well before anybody does any campaigning. This per Dick Morris.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
