Today, our accountability ad is running in 7 newspapers across Montana!
In it, local gun owners tell Democratic Sen. Max Baucus "it was WRONG to vote no on stopping gun violence" -- and they pressure him to support background checks when the Senate votes again.
Can you help us run similar ads this week, pressuring the other 3 Democratic senators who voted wrong on guns?
Over 5,000 people have chipped in for these ads, which are making national news:
MSNBC: The Progressive Change Campaign Committee (PCCC) said it plans to run approximately $100,000 in print advertisements against Sens. Max Baucus of Montana, Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota, Mark Pryor of Arkansas, and Mark Begich of Alaska.
USA Today: PCCC is running full-page ads in seven newspapers throughout Montana. The ad includes the signatures of 75 gun owners across Montana who are protesting Baucus' vote.
PBS Newshour: Joining the political threats was the liberal Progressive Change Campaign Committee, which promised it would be "holding accountable Democrats who voted against their constituents by running ads featuring some of the 23,000 gun owners who have joined our campaign for common sense gun reform."
Accountability is here. Can you donate $3 to run these ads in Arkansas, North Dakota, and Alaska this week?
Thanks for being a bold progressive.
