This workshop is for the scrapper that wants to take their scrapbooking to the next creative level or for the scrapper that wants to do layouts that they probably wouldn't take the time to do on their own. These layouts will always include stamping and will use a variety of techniques, like distressing, inking, embossing and more. Because the layouts are more involved than the "Just the Basics" workshop, you can expect the workshop to take approximately 3-4 hours, especially for less experienced scrappers.
This month we will be making two 2-page layouts, featuring CTMH's Timberline paper line.
Creativity is always encouraged. Feel free to either copy my layout just as shown, or customize your layout by changing the paper up, creating a title for your needs using my collection of alphabet stamps, etc. You may also choose to forgo the title altogether, wait to use something from your stash at home or wait until you have photos ready for the layout.
There is not an instructor fee, but there is a cost for the supplies used, but any supplies left over are yours to keep.
I provide the space, the stamps, the inks, and most tools, as well as some light refreshments. You just need to bring your own adhesive (runner, wet, and foam) and paper trimmer.
There are two kits from which to select and due to the fact that the supplies vary from month to month, kit costs can vary slightly. This month, the basic kit is $27.66 and the Workshop-on-the-Go kit is $34.27 (incl. tx/ship). Add the coordinating stickers to your kit ($5.66, incl. tax/ship) and receive the cutting guide and instructions from the "Just the Basics" workshop to create two additional layouts.
Can't attend, but want the kit? No problem, just contact me. If you are local, we'll make arrangements for pick-up. If you're not, I can have it shipped directly to you.
Due to the inability to offer different price options through Meetup, you must RSVP here no later than Monday, April 28th, AND submit payment through Paypal on my Calendar of Events or via phone. Please note, a kit will NOT be ordered for you if payment is not received by the 28th. Therefore, it is vitally important that when you RSVP "yes", that you submit payment, too. (Note: There needs to be a minimum of two participants for a class to hold. Classes will either be rescheduled or refunds will be given, if desired.)
This site will not allow you to RSVP after the cut-off date. However, if you decide after the 28th that you would like to attend, just contact me. If I have any extra kits, you're welcome to come. If not, I can still get a kit to you for you to complete on your own, it just wouldn't be ready in time for the workshop.
