Yoga on the Beach!

We'll try it again!  Moderate level yoga on the beach.  Last time we were rained out, but not until after a full Sun Salutation.  It didn't bring the sun out, but we still had a good laugh and can now say we have done yoga in the rain.  Very.....refreshing!!!!!

So, please come join us.  If you are new to the group, bring a towel or blanket, water, sunscreen, friends and family.  We meet at the north end of Pelican Beach.  Hope to see you there.

Super solid workout. The extra heat (and there is more of that to come) adds a whole new dimension to my practice.

Another great beach yoga session! Thanks Karen; wonderful intermediate class. As always the sand makes us work a bit harder. No rain this time:-) Nice sun...heat.
    Namaste.

Sadly it looks like we have a good chance of being rained off the beach on Saturday. But I really hate to miss a chance to practice yoga. Rather than cancel perhaps we can plan to have a rain out alternative location. The pavillions at the south end of PelBchPark look nice. Can some that lives close check it out at an alternative. Or let's suggest other alternative locations.

Anyone interested will benefit from these classes. You get some basics in flexibility, focus, breathing techniques and reaching beyond your comfort zone...just a bit.
The asanas are given with modifications so everyone can move through them.
And all the while, we get to enjoy the beach -the sound of the ocean, the salt water smell, and the warm rays of the sun.
    It's all good.
