We probably should have picked a time and place to meet. Will know next time we are doing an event like this where some are carpooling and some vanning.
Had a great time and met some fun new people, as well as spending time with ones I already new. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Glad I got to go. Sorry Gary--glad you guys had a blast anyway.
Take care,
Gia

We went to eat at the Great Outdoors restaurant as listed in the above description. We met other people that drove themselves there for lunch in High springs. So to be fair it was too bad that the people who carpooled with Gary Buck did not get to join in with the group. but .-you commented on August 5th. "Not sure where if didn't get a spot on the van. I guess we'll meet ya at Walmart? What entrance? What parking lot when arriving? On tube? How do we carry water & snacks? Is it Santa Fe at Devil's Den?"
SO GUESS YOU SHOULD HAVE FOLLOWED THE VAN THERE????? Even people that road together in van and cars got separated on the float down. Sorry we did not get to see you.

I changed my rsvp to no but there's still a chance I could go last minute. Is there room on the van and is it fine to bring cash for my share of the trip? Hope to see an answer soon! Thanks!

Hello fellow adventurers!!! I just RSVP for this event. Hopefully it is not too late. I am new to Meetup, so not sure where to see if there is still room. Let me know if there is still space. I can bring cash tomorrow to pay for the trip. Looking forward to meeting you all.

Oh boy! I've been trying to float this river since I moved here. Should be loads of fun :)

How much time allotted for tubing? How much time for browsing shops on Main Street?

anyone in the Malabar/us1 (just north of Sebastian) area that is driving and that would be interested in having company. I would be glad to chip in for gas!

GREAT NEWS! We now have a van load for this event! This means that IF we get at least 15 more people we can ride in a full size 50+ seat motorcoach! So TELL YOUR FRIENDS, NOW! Falling short of the minimum for a bus but over the maximum for the van will mean carpooling for the difference. Contact Lee Rosenkranz NOW at [masked].

High Springs is a nostalgic look at old Florida known for Quaint and colorful shops, cafes, Southern décor and Oak Trees with Spanish moss! This is not white water rafting this is a light float down a stunning waterway in crystal clear spring waters. Their are no age requirements and Alan's 15 year old son is coming along.

Sounds like a blast on the cool cool water. Never been, is it down river and pickup or just a big spring?
