Honey bee Family Class 2

March 21,2013

6:30pm-8:30 pm

Please consider attending these classes even if if you do not intend with working with bees your self. They are so critical to maintaining our food plants and we all can benefit from learning more about them

Langstroth, Top Bar, Warre hives and other interesting bee domiciles. Know what all the components are used for and how to care for each kind of hive. Choose the hive you want to use and be ready for the start of bee season.

Our natural perspective embodies respect, kindness and sacredness of Life. Use your senses (and common sense) to understand what they are doing from season to season and ways to help bees thrive. Good for new beekeepers and bee-friendly gardeners who want to care for bees in a non-conventional, organic and biodynamic manner. I'll also cover an embarrassing list of mistakes I've made over the years with the hope that you won't have to repeat these errors.

I am thrilled to have after two years of asking Jacqueline Freeman teaching these classes at our store. She is the premier natural biodynamic beekeeper in our area and has a great love and understanding of the bee world.
