This class is taught by Melissa Elliott, the local landscape designer, beekeeper and apitherapist behind Melissa Bees.
Melissa is a bee-teacher highly recommended by Jacqueline Freeman of Spirit Bee. In Mark’s words:
“Melissa came to me highly recommended by Jacqueline Freeman. She will teach more of the nuts and bolts of beekeeping, while Jaqueline will cover some of that but will touch more on the esoteric, biodynamic approach to bees. If you really want to learn bees, I suggest you attend both if possible. I do have ten hives myself, and collect swarms in the spring to grow my population and seed my rural location.”
