Randy I love your idea of a poll. I do think it should have a orientation for the backyard suburban gardener also and what they want to learn. Maybe a section of two questions of what they want to learn and or what they would most like to get out of this group. We could give them a box to write in as a option to get more detailed answers. tell me what you think thanks mark

So we can better understand what the group wishes to accomplish, can anyone interested please add an questions to this poll before it gets sent out? If there are leaders for different quadrants that will establish themselves, this will be a good start to helping determine what people want:

In regards to urban farming, would you like to:
  • Teach others
  • Learn from others
  • Start a gardening or farming business
  • Exchange resources (tools, land, knowledge, labor, etc.)
  • Get to know other gardeners - farmers that live around me
  • Start a farming - gardening project around where I live

Sounds good to me. I work strange hours but am available every other week. For instance, this is beginning of my week off.
