Hi All,
I decided to step up as organiser of this group when I saw that the current organiser was stepping down due to business commitments. I live in Hove and have done for the last few years. I've lived in a few places over the years and Brighton and Hove definately has something about it that isn't found in a lot of other places.
I joined this Meet-Up group in the middle of 2010 but wasn't able to attend of its meetings as I was working in central London and never managed to get back to Brighton until at least 9pm so all of my networking took place in London.
I spent 20 great years working within the architecture and construction industry. This was an absolute passion for me upto and throughout one of my final projects which was the refurbishment and re-design of the international airport in Kingston, Jamaica. This project started to reveal to me what my true burning passion was. I used my intuition and followed this through to then change my career.
I am now a LifeSuccess Consultant helping people reveal their great potentiality by understanding the power of the mind along with the creative process of using your higher faculties to choose your new thoughts and not from your choosing them from your currrent results.
I have always met up with local business owners / people in Brighton on very informal meetings and have always found that we have been able to help each other and progress forward in some way, shape or form. Helping other people get what they want is always beneficial to the parties involved and if this is compounded to a group, it can produce absolutely amazing results.
What I want to achieve here is a meeting place for individuals who either have a business, are thinking of starting a business, are interested in business or meeting business people to share their experiences and knowledge to assist in their own and other people's growth.
We will meet every couple of weeks, in an informal setting in central Brighton to mastermind any associated problems that any of the members have, discuss any imminent business events that are happening, share any books of interest and any other points of interest that anyone feels would benefit the group and generally offer support where support can be given. The group will be able to bring together resources and connections that you may not have been able to do on your own. If you would like to use the group to build relationships then so be it.
Napoleon Hill said that there was a mystical quality created when a mastermind group came together. Although this is not strictly a mastermind group, 'no two minds ever come together without, thereby creating a third invisible intangible force which may be likened to a third mind'.
It'll also be a fantastic opportunity to expand your network.
Once a group of like-minded individuals get together and are thinking along the same thought pattern, wonderful creative solutions can be manifested.
