This month’s Brighton Green Drinks is being held downstairs at the Blue Man on Wednesday 23rd[masked]pm.
Our new format of drinks and talks continues - with a talk by waste guru Cat Fletcher from Brighton Uni's Waste House and Freegle. Her talk kicks off at 7pm, followed by a Q&A, and drinks after.
All welcome, please spread the word and why not bring a friend.
Cat Fletcher is obsessed with waste - come and hear some rubbish facts and figures then get inspired to be more resourceful. Cat has run the online Freegle reuse group in Brighton http://freegle.in/Brighton for 6 years, she is also part of the team building the Brighton Waste House http://arts.brighton.ac.uk/business-and-community/the-house-that-kevin-built over at University of Brighton and is about to make an online UK “Reuse Directory” http://giveitforgood.com/
You can read more about the kind of things she does here.
If you like people, beer and sustainability, then you should be at the World Famous Green Drinks. All welcome, please spread the word, bring a friend :)
Come and enjoy a drink with some like minded people at Brighton Green Drinks. You might be deeply immersed or working in sustainability or environmental areas, working for the 'other side' but green at heart, or not very green at all but think you might like to dip your toe in over a glass of ale and have a mingle.
Green Drinks is a monthly occurrence happening on the 4th Wednesday of every month.
Special guests each month - watch this space for details.
