December Brighton & Hove BT & friends meet up

Let's do it again! Let's hope we get the weather again too.  It was great fun meeting your terrific doggies. A good mix of Bostons and Frenchies and everyone got on great. I think Loki and Dexter might be brothers-from-another-mother or at least best mates now! And Jack and Coco kept it classy! Please let folks know, bring a friend. Responding to feedback I've made it little later in the day this time and I WONT change the location.  So where we met for the first one, inside Adelaide Crescent, opposite Hove Lawns.   See you then

    Lessons Learnt:
    - I will bring a bowl, but if you can bring a bottle of water that would be great as we got through the one bottle pretty quickly.
    - The last session lasted for about 1.5hours (maybe a little longer) so something to consider if you are coming from a long way away.
    - Have your lead; if your dog isn't used to being in such a big group they might not feel comfortable off lead straight away
    - We will meet, unless its absolutely tipping it down with rain as no Boston Ive ever met enjoys being wet - at least mine doesn't. But I will call it about 11 on Sunday if the weather is horrid.

2 Dec: Update we are still on for the Meet up this Sunday. Lets hope we get the weather! We will be in the same place for those who made it last time. That is: SouthWest corner of Adelaide Crescent. So that is the grassy area inside the crescent. If you are looking up at Adelaide Crescent with you back to the SEA, we will be in the bottom LEFT corner. There is a small wall between the road and the crescent and we will be inside that wall. There isn't a fence around it but its pretty enclosed around all sides so its a safe place to let the hounds run.

Hi can we have some info on the meeting place please. Parking availability and charges, also enclosed, safe area for letting dogs off lead? Thank you.

      Hi Amanda
So we will meet meeting the same place as last time. Its inside the bottom of Adelaide Crescent (the end closest to the Hove Lawns and Sea). That area is 'enclosed' so we were able to let the Bostons (and Frenchies) run around and it was cool. If you are standing at the bottom of the Crescent with your back to the Sea, then we will be on the LEFT side. The South West corner

There is metered parking on the crescent so in theory you can park there or there a bouts but I cannot guarantee parking on the day and I don't know what it costs to park I am afraid I don't have a car but perhaps someone else does. We had another couple come buy car last time and they parked just opposite so maybe they can comment?

Hi, is there easy parking here and is there a charge? The area where you let the dogs off, is it a secure area? We are both off work on the Sunday and would love to come if the weather is good. Boswell can't run around too much as it makes him bring up thick, white froth. He is having an op before Christmas to shorten his palate which is causing an airway problem. Just a heads up for people as often we get quite disgusted looks when poor Boswell is 'sick'.
