Enough Said @ 6:30pm:
Completed just before he died, ENOUGH SAID sees James Gandolfini (The Sopranos, IN THE LOOP) play Albert, a jaded divorcee warily negotiating his return to the dating game, who meets Eva (Louis-Dreyfus, Seinfeld, Veep), a masseuse and single parent anxiously facing life as an empty-nester.
Directed by Nicole Holofcener (FRIENDS WITH MONEY, Parks and Recreation), this blessedly schmaltz-free romcom finds Albert and Eva overcoming their initial awkwardness to develop a deepening affection, while Marianne (Keener, A LATE QUARTET), one of Eva’s newest clients, seems keen to turn their professional relationship into something more.
Unexpected connections among the unlikely trio bring complications that prove that grown-up affairs can be fraught with embarrassment, if not heartache. Holofcener’s sharply written script perfectly fuels Gandolfini and Louis-Dreyfus’s bemused cynicism and touching vulnerability, and the end result is a complete joy.
