I'm interested in sharing film info and the cinema evenings at the Loft with other fans. I do the programming for the West Street Loft cinema nights in Shoreham - not quite sure how I fell into that but am enjoying it! We've been theming the screenings each month, with world cinema films on thursdays, quality films (old & new) on sundays. I really enjoy the atmosphere at the Loft - its really friendly and welcoming and perfect for cinema showings with proper cinema seats, candles and a licensed bar! It would be great to spread the word and get more film fans attending on a regular basis - Shoreham needs a cinema, and its midway between Worthing & Brighton and well placed for surrounding areas too.
This is an impossible ask! Off the top of my head - Now Voyager, Casablanca & His Girl Friday (but then there's Harvey, Brief Encounter...and that's just the black & white favourites...)
Go to the cinema! Especially the local ones with a classic cinema quality feel to them - the Duke of Yorks, The Dome in Worthing...and the West Street Loft in Shoreham which seems to have the best of everything!
Hi I've been a cinema fan since I can remember...I use to work and practically live in the Duke of Yorks in Brighton - so have a well developed love of world cinema and quality films. Tho not adverse to the odd well made blockbuster occasionally too.
