Subject: [Brighton-Hove-Movie-Club] What were the best films of 2013?

Drum roll please.....

The results of the Brighton and Hove Movie Club Best Films of 2013 poll are:

1) Mud

2) Django unchained

3) Philomena

4) The Rocket

5) Blue is the warmest colour

6) The Hijacking

7) Enough said

8=) Only God forgives

8=) Stories we tell

10) Gravity

34 eligible films got at least 1 vote plus another 6 that were not in fact seen by the Meet Up group this year.  It is interesting that, dispite going to see nearly 100 new films in 2013, there were still good and interesting films that we missed. Two of these films, Rush and The Conjuring, were the favourite films of two members.
